This week's episode is a rather special one for me as I got the incredible opportunity to speak with one of my favorite mentors. Maestro Leslie Dala and I talk about his journey as a young musician growing up in Toronto, his eventual move west to Vancouver for school, and his career as Associate Conductor of the Vancouver Opera and Music Director of the Vancouver Bach Choir.

Maestro Dala’s expansive career that has taken him across this country and around the world but for many of us who were/and are apart of the UBC Opera Ensemble, he has been one of our greatest mentors. His passions, drive, and limitless knowledge are simply an inspiration.
