Zambian based, International award winner Paul Payne837 premieres his new single “Calling.”

“This song is a call for help, imagine being in the midst of chaos where you lose everything that mattered to you. You get fired from your job, your partner breaks up with you and the business you were building with your close friend goes in the trenches, mind you this is all happening at the same time. It’s at this point that you realize you have suicidal thoughts and life doesn’t seem to be worth it anymore, depression and anxiety seem to be the only thing close to you. Through counseling and talking to the people close to me, I was reminded in “ Romans 8:37, No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Paul says.

Instead of running away from adversity this song is a reminder that God is always here for us despite the situation we are in, sometimes God will make you go through the fire to mold you into the being He created you to be. Remember diamonds are made under pressure. His just a prayer away!

This song is a fusion of Afro and Dancehall vibes, which features Yande, Du4 and Emmzz all from Zambia and it’s produced by EmmzzTouch.

Paul Payne837 unveils his past traumas in his latest single “Emotional Blood”

“Emotional Blood” is a song which comes from an emotional, vulnerable and bloody place where Paul Payne837 speaks about coming from a broken home, fighting depression, disappointment and having father issues.

“I feel most artists don’t want to speak about these issues and the struggles they have been through because they are scared of being judged so they keep a perfect picture especially in the gospel arena. When you look at how a man is perceived in our society its really hard to express yourself because you are supposed to be strong and not show weakness, this is the reason men commit suicide more than women,” Paul says.

Stand out lyrics:

“I lost my mama gat depression but I act fine

Cuz a man is never prone to show a weak sign

They be calling you a simp trash you online…”

The song Emotional Blood was produced/mixed and mastered at Geek State Musik by the head of production, Fusa. The song is scheduled to be released on 31st August, 2022 on all digital streaming platforms worldwide.

Paul Payne837 dives into pain and fear in his new song “Handle”.

“God can you handle me?” That part is me admitting and surrendering everything in God’s hands, I wanted to write a song that would make others feel they are not alone in the pain and fear that we live through in order to endure.

I love that Jesus doesn’t simply say we’ll have trials and sorrow and then leaves it to us to figure out. Instead, he promises peace and reminds us that he has overcome the world, meaning our hardships aren’t without purpose.

This is why the Apostle Paul who experienced much pain and difficulty can boldly declare these words in Romans 8:28.

The song Handle was produced/mixed and mastered at Geek State Musik by the head of production, Fusa. The song is scheduled to be released on 29th July, 2022 on all digital streaming platforms worldwide.

Paul Payne837 who is an award winning artist has more than 200,000 streams on Boomplay, Apple Music and Spotify. He continues to show his creativity and talents through his music featuring many other equally talented artists.

“Handle” is available for downloads on all digital platforms.

Paul Payne837 releases new music dubbed “What If” featuring Zambian female Artist Chisomo.

“What If” is a song inspired by that doubtful thought we all have when we want to take a step to greatness. Let’s say you want to start a business, a podcast, a YouTube channel, create a song, maybe it’s going to the gym, or telling your testimony, maybe telling your crush what you feel for them, I can go on and on!

Life is always a tussle between what you are doing and what you really want to do. Often considering that life is uncertain and because of fear of the future we do not pursue our passion. “What If”, we fail. This is what stops us from taking a step further towards our dreams, career, love, and more.

The song features a Zambian female artist Chisomo making it their second collaboration. The duo, who prior to this collaboration worked on a song titled “Would You” have teamed up to create another masterpiece titled “What If”. The song is a fusion of Dancehall and Afro beats accompanied by some influence from the Caribbean, produced by D Jonz a Zambian producer.

So here is the gist! We fear the unknown and leave the thing which often matters the most. But life is all about taking chances, because “What If” you succeed.

If you don't take the risk and take the chance then later you might regret after the realization that what if you succeeded? Always try and give it a shot to pursue your dreams, your love and your passion.

Paul Payne837 who is an award winning artist has more than 152,000 streams on Boomplay, Apple Music and Spotify. He continues to show his creativity and talents through his music featuring many other equally talented artists.

“What If” is available for downloads on all digital platforms.

It is easy to forget the trials of the past when something beautiful catches our ear. Louis Kabeba starts off the song and serenades us with his brilliant voice. The blend of instruments in the background compliments his vocal range beautifully, setting the stage for a soulful journey. We are drawn into Paul Payne’s story in just a few moments. It's easy to see why this song will become a hit.

"Mwebene" is a song about God’s grace. The song was written by Paul Payne837 as a reflection on his life during a dark time. He realized that people only wanted to associate with him because of his potential as an artist. This was similar to what happened to David in the bible when people did not believe in him until they saw him slay a giant.

“During a time I went off all my socials, I realized how entitled people were to me over my growth as an artist. I would ask people for help and it turned old because nobody wanted to help me. God’s grace over my life got me here and I want to keep speaking on how magnificent his love is”, Paul says.

Stand out Lyrics:

"I feel like David look I gat the juice I gat the tools

He gave me everything I need but I gat to listen "

This is Paul Payne837's third single of the year 2022, it was produced by Fusa following his last song “Yahweh” which, as expected, shot to the top with a wide listenership on Social Media. Mwebene is a fusion of Hip hop and Worship that makes Paul Payne837 very diverse in his music sound.

Paul Payne837 has been very vocal about raising awareness on Mental Health and what it leads to, the song is a reminder that God’s grace can take you far. You can stream and download Mwebene on all digital platforms.

Paul Payne837 dives into mental health issues In his new song "Yahweh" alongside Zambian singer Catherine Ndhlovu. This song has been in the making for a long time, and it couldn't have arrived at a better moment. "Yahweh" is a moving tribute to people who suffer from mental illness, effortlessly portraying feelings of depression, stress, and suicidal behavior. Paul Payne837 sings about his depression and suicide impulses in the song, but at the brink of it all, he finds self-acceptance and God.The lyrics' inspiration creates a dark mood from a place where people are afraid to talk to others for fear of being ridiculed and judged, particularly in a Christian community.

In his own words Paul Payne837 says, “People are too busy hurling stones at the wrong people and after all is said and done, the same people are so ready to place flowers on their victims' graves and show them fake love.""At the end of the day, nothing but God can satisfy the soul's desires," the artist adds. This is the most honest and raw song yet, and it's a powerful anthem. In these times, a great song with a really heartfelt message. “Yahweh” will go down in the books as the first single produced by a Zambian producer, "EmmzzTouch" this year.Perhaps better than anything else, the end of his song features a vulnerable Paul Payne837 imploring God for strength, followed by Catherine Ndhlovu's magnificent Chorus acknowledging God as the Alpha and Omega.“Yahwe” is available now on all digital platforms for streaming and downloads.

Zambian based artist and award winner Paul Payne837 debuts his first single of the new year “Nasumbula.” The song brings his ability to adapt and transition through worship music in his own hip-hop style.

“It’s a super vulnerable yet enlightening song that talks about my reason to not need validation from anyone, this song to me is a wake up call to do away with that dependency mentality waiting for people to come to my aid to push me to the next level. I keep telling myself to wake up and do something that will contribute towards the purpose that I’ve been chosen to do. I’m not the same person I was back in the day. I am walking into this new year with no remorse but God on my side. Whenever I feel lost, I try to put that energy toward drawing out what God is saying to me at that very moment and in that moment, I realise that’s the only validation I need and I will praise his name for that.”- PaulPayne837

Stand out lyrics: “Am aiming for the biggest stars. My dream is too heavy. On the way up! I pray to God I shouldn’t lose myself.”

The song itself is Produced and mastered at Geek State Musik by the head of production, Fusa. With the success of his last project “Chinjako Step” that has hit over 10k listenership worldwide and many of his fans showing him lots of love. This year won’t be any different for the song artist. He has many great projects in store for his virtual family.

“Nasumbula” is available now on all digital platforms for streaming and downloads.
