In today's bible reading we continue reading the trial of Job. We see Eliphaz's fearful vision.

In todays Bible reading we start the book of Job. We see a man named Job and the blessings that God gave him. We see Satan being given permission to test Job and Job passes and doesn't sin. We see that Satan goes before the Lord a second time and Satan is given permission to test job a second time and Job didn't sin with his lips. We also see Job cursing the day of his birth.

In today's bible reading Esther gets the house of Haman, Esther goes before the king to petition that the letters of Haman be reversed, the Jews slay their enemies and Haman's sons and the Jews ordain a feast day called Purim to commemorate and remember what happened between Haman and the Jews and afterward.

In today's bible reading Esther makes a banquet for the king and Haman and presents her request before the king. Haman hates Mordecai and the Jews and has the gallows built so he can hang Mordecai. Haman becomes accused and is eventually hanged.

In today's bible reading we begin the book of Esther. Queen Vashti disobeyed the kings commandment and therefore was kicked out of the kingdom. King Ahasuerus chooses a new Queen. Human seeks to wipe out all the Jews.

In today's Bible reading we read about the inhabitants of Jerusalem as well as the cities. We also read the dedication of the wall and how Nehemiah reformed certain abuses.

In today's bible reading we read how Ezra the scribe got up behind a wooden pulpit and read the book of the law. When the book of the law was read everyone stood up. We also read a confession of Gods goodness, and the sealing of the covenant.

In today's bible reading we see how the practice of usury is reformed, the building of the wall is complete, and we also see a register of those who came from Babylon.

In today's bible reading we finish off the book of Ezra we read the companies of this who came back with Ezra from Babylon to Israel. We also read about Ezra's fast as well as his prayer of confessing the sins of his people as well as his own.

In today's bible reading we began reading the book of Nehemiah and looked at how Nehemiah tastes and prayed, how he returns to Jerusalem and the order and names of those who started rebuilding the wall and repairing the breaches.
