We explore two institutions - the state and the family and the foundational truths concerning their existence, roles and limits. Since Christians are called to be model citizens given to civil obedience, we discuss the confines of this submission as it relates to the Biblical role of the family. We also observe changes in how the two intersect, concerns of any breaches and the consequences which Christians must respond to today.

One of the biggest and rarely mentioned issues affecting the Church today is the church's relationship to the government. Understanding this would help us relate better to our governments and be able to stand for the truth when it's challenged.
