BSGCC - 120 The Proverbs 31-woman Pt 1 Pro 31 vs 10-22--1. Who is this Proverbs 31 woman that many aspire to be- --2. Understanding the gospel is very important.-3. Many people, preachers and believers have a tendency to moralize the bible too much that they end up making it about themselves.--4. They end up using the scriptures to medicate their problems and that is not the most profitable way. It only ends up in human wisdom and disappointment, which makes none wise unto salvation.--5. The scriptures were given to declare the person and work of Christ.-6. It does not matter what genre of scripture it is, it was given to testify of Christ.--7. And so, the Proverbs 31 woman is no exception. Her credentials are too lofty and her work faithful and impeccable that she can't be found anywhere in this world.--8. This woman is only found by revelation and God's grace only to the elect.-9. Now, someone will object and say, nowhere is Christ pictured as a woman. But that is because they are speaking from ignorance of the scriptures and typology.--10. Many gospel nuggets to glean here.

BSGCC - 119 The Words of King Lemuel's mother.-Text- Proverbs 31 vs 1-9-1. The king was a child of his mother's and a son of her vows..-2..And she had words of instruction to him about what he needed to do, that he may be a righteous king who is able to defend the cause of the afflicted, poor and needy..-3...So, this king was to not forget the Law in this quest...and so the Lord Jesus came and fulfilled every jot and tittle of the Law on behalf of all His elect.. -4..The Lord Jesus is He who was born as the Son of God's vows, to bring justice to all of His people who were afflicted by sin and death..-5...This king was to make intercession for His people... and these pictures are only understood faithfully as they speak to the person and work of Christ...

Gospel instalment--1. God always preached the same message-it does not matter the book or story, it was always about salvation in Christ.--2. And to understand Christ, the cross, God's grace, one has to appreciate the matter of the relationship between Sin and Law.--3. Many are quick to side on the side of Law and even claim to do it, but it is zeal without knowledge.-4. The Law was given to IMPRISON and to MAKE HOPELESS because of sin.-5. Law and Sin always produce bondage and that is the matter that God was preaching in Egypt with the testimony of Israel.-6. So, the Angel of Lord -Christ- came to His people in Egypt to set them free, but He had to teach them how a sinner in bondage is set free.-7. And in the testimony of Pharaoh we will learn the matter of Law and what it demands of a sinner. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT GOSPEL UNDERSTANDING.

Sermon Titles- 1.I will kill his firstborn son, 2. Those who sought YOUR LIFE ARE DEAD 3..The husband of blood..--1. We went back to Exodus 4 to glean gospel nuggets of how God was preaching this matter in Egypt.--2.His people were under bondage to Pharaoh and God has come down to deliver them by the hand of Moses..--3. BUT IN MOSES, we see a type of Christ....--4..IN Egypt we see the matter or issue of slavery as depicting the sinners' oppression to sin, law and death...--5...And these are the matters that define the condition that has to be met for one to be set free..--6..And it is not as many religious people would say....ALL CONDITIONS OF SALVATION ARE MET IN THE GOD APPOINTED MEDIATOR...--7...Many gospel nuggets to glean and they are free.

Today's gospel instalment- 12-05-2021-Title- 1. I have come down 2. Shall not go empty-handed.-Text- Exodus-1..Israel is in Egypt and are in bondage..-2...God has come to deliver His people and says, I have HEARD, the CRY and SORROW of MY people..-3..And He has come down to save them from the hand of Pharaoh..-4..THE Pharaoh who will NOT let God's people go for a gospel testimony, that we expounded and are developing in this book of Exodus.-5..MOSES was appointed and commissioned of God to be the deliverer of His people, as a type of CHRIST..-6..Unless the problem of bondage to sin and Law is defined, then the matter of Christ and His work means NOTHING , as it is in many -churches- today...-7..But where there is bondage and salvation from it, there is blessing, for God's people shall not leave their house of bondage empty-handed.-8..That and more and it is free..

Today's Gospel instalment- 12-04-2021 Message Title- Imputation and its Necessity.. Text- Genesis 39... 1..Many say grace, gospel, Jesus who do not understand or believe the real matter.. 2.. Salvation happens only through the principle of IMPUTATION.. 3..To Impute means to charge or reckon something to someone's account.. 4..The whole gospel transaction rests on this principle, from Adam to Christ, to all the redeemed.. 5..Grace happens only through IMPUTATION that is grounded on the doing of another.. 6...Once we condition salvation on the doing of a sinner for all or any part of salvation, we are already believing a FALSE GOSPEL... 7..A lot of preachers do this double dealing and double speaking, because they too don't understand the issue... 8...Listen to this message.... because it is God's truth from the text and it is free-

1. Jesus said, one must be born again to SEE the kingdom of God.-2. But many have been made to believe that this is something that sinners in their natural state of death are able to do by their own will and power...-3. But Jesus begs to differ, listen to this message and hear Jesus's teaching on the matter.

Title- John 3 vs 16 and the Gospel-1. John 3-14-16 -NKJV- -14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. -16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. -2. Many falsely conclude that Jesus was saying that salvation is universal and potential, in the sense that God wants to save all men without exception and thus awaits the decisions of sinners to seal the deal. But that can't be true.-3. Jesus did not end up talking in verse 16 of John 3. He qualified His soteriology in many other texts. Also, a proper understanding of John 3 will not allow for the free-will, universalistic interpretation of it.-4. But you have to listen to the end to hear the arguments.. They are FREE-

Sermon Title- -Raised in Pharaoh's house---Text- Exodus chapters 1 and 2--1. Exodus 1-11-14 -NKJV- -11 Therefore they set taskmasters over them to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh supply cities, Pithom and Raamses. -12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were in dread of the children of Israel. -13 So the Egyptians made the children of Israel serve with rigor. -14 And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage--in mortar, in brick, and in all manner of service in the field. All their service in which they made them serve was with rigor. --2. God continued to preach the gospel of His Son, unfolding the story even in the suffering of His people whom He brought into bondage for this very purpose.--3. And from this bondage He appointed and raised a deliverer and raised him in the house of Pharaoh.-4. Many gospel nuggets to glean, God has already laid it out and so you sit down and listen..because it is free.

1. The difference between the indicatives and imperatives is very vital to a faithful preaching, teaching of the gospel and also to the matter of true faith.--2. Because making that distinction is very important, I will not assume that everyone knows what that means.--3. The indicatives-indicate the redeemed's status before God in Christ. It is what God has indicated to be true about us in Christ.--4. The indicative is wholly found in the doing of God, of Christ and the Holy Spirit and what Christ alone did is the basis of righteousness and holiness that God imputes freely to the elect.--5. On the B side of things and that is Ephesians 4 to 6 we have the THEREFORE that comes from one being saved.--6. And this respect the commands or exhortations. Doing the commands is not the basis of salvation, in other words, does not cause salvation, does not cause righteousness or holiness, because we still suck at doing them.--7. This is a very good closing of the book of Ephesians and I highly encourage that one also listen to the Part 1 of this epilogue.
