In this very special episode we had the greatest pleasure to talk to visual artist and photographer Shirin Neshat. Her art has found immense international acclaim, covering topics from the contrasts between Islam and the West, antiquity and modernity and femininity and masculinity. She has been awarded the Silver Lion at the 66th Venice Film Festival and the International Award of the Venice Biennale in 1999.

By popular demand, we would like to share another one of our new Bergos Passion episodes with you. This time, with Michael Conrad, Advertising legend. He was instrumental in helping Leo Burnett Worldwide become “Global Agency Network” in 2000, and the “Most Awarded Agency Network” in 2001. Under his creative leadership, 27 Leo Burnett agencies were named “Agency of the Year” in their countries, some of them more than once. He has presided over many juries of international advertising festivals, including Cannes, AdFest, Clio and Golden Drum. He is Honorary Member of ADC Switzerland, ADC*Europe and ADC Germany. In 2002, German business daily Handelsblatt and Wirtschaftswoche magazine inducted him into the German Advertising Hall of Fame. He is a co-founder of the Berlin School of Creative Leadership in Berlin and was its President until 2020.

Abhishek Poddar has had a strong interest in art since high school and created a significant collection of South Asian and contemporary art, antiquities, and photography.
