I met Besher at Wedding's Kreativ Flohmarkt 🌬️👀 Numerous colorful buildings, beautiful lines and a very well presented booth - I couldn't be more curious and was thrilled by his presentation of “a small but ambitious one-person project” 🚀🏘️

Born and raised in Damascus, Syria, Besher tells us how he settled in Berlin, developed a career as an architect and eventually started his own project, BESH Prints, which “started as a part-time/hobby and grew into something slightly bigger” 🌀🏞️

From Flohmarkt etiquette to trusting your gut, embracing creativity, staying focused, and keeping going to discover that you'll get much farther than you expected 🥾🗺️, I really enjoyed this conversation and hope that you will too 💫

Es ist ein Projekt, das wir seit einiger Zeit mit der Illustration & Künstlerin Anne - Berlianne geschmiedet haben 👀👯‍♀️

Im Podcast gibt es eine Tradition des stimmlichen Adventskalenders. Und ich hatte richtig Bock darauf, ihm einen visuellen Aspekt zu verleihen. Erinnert Ihr Euch noch an diese Adventskalender ohne Schokolade, nur mit Bildern? 🌲☃️

Zusammen mit Anne, haben wir uns entschieden, diese berühmte Tradition des physischen Papierkalenders, bei dem man jeden Tag ein Türchen öffnet, wieder aufzunehmen und dazu eine akustische, auditive Dimension hinzuzufügen, mit einer erzählten Geschichte, einem Märchen, das sich über jeden Tag des Advents erstreckt, auf Französisch und Deutsch 🇫🇷🇩🇪

C’est un projet que nous mijotions depuis quelques temps avec l’artiste illustratrice Anne - Berlianne 👀👯‍♀️

Il y a dans le podcast une tradition de calendrier de l’Avent vocal. Et j’avais très envie de lui donner un aspect visuel. Vous vous souvenez de ces calendriers de L'Avent sans chocolat, juste des images ? 🌲☃️

Avec Anne, nous avons choisi de reprendre cette fameuse tradition du calendrier papier, physique, dont on ouvre chaque jour une petite porte, et d'y ajouter une dimension sonore, auditive, avec une histoire racontée, un conte qui s'étire sur chaque jour de l'Avent, en français et en allemand 🇫🇷🇩🇪

Il y a des adresses que l'on préfèrerait conserver secrètes 🤐👀 ... Mais quand je me suis cassée un petit bout de dent en buvant un smoothie (no comment), je me suis directement rendue chez mon dentiste berlinois 🏃‍♀️💨

Avec professionnalisme, rapidité et gentillesse, l'affaire était pliée en moins de 30 min et je me suis dit que lorsqu'on touche au domaine de la santé, on se devait de partager avec les autres les meilleurs professionnels que l'on connaisse 🤞🍀

Maîtrisant l'allemand, le français, l'espagnol, l'anglais et le portugais, Roman Vandré est le dentiste préféré des internationaux berlinois 🧭🗺️

I met Devi at one of her workshops exploring the lost-wax technique, as I was creating my very first piece of handmade jewellery. I loved the experience and was fascinated by her tiny lively world, full of organic shapes, nature, insects and colours 🦋🪲🍃

Sitting down for the first time with a jewellery artist/maker, I was very curious to find out about Devi's background, from her studies about industrial design in Italy to launching an independent creative practice in Berlin 📚👩‍💻🕯️

From process (working directly with material rather than concept), making small decorative objects for every aspect of life, to collaborating with others in a shared space, deep dive in her creative daily life 🪐✨
