Bernard of Clairvaux is an influential voice from the 12th century. He helped lead to the organization of the Knights' Templar, the 2nd Crusade, and helped end a split between popes. In his personal life, people loved his hunger for righteousness and his constant encouragement to live lives of Holiness.
