Some lyrics of my own
Song
Bertha And The Hare
The hare lies in the pepper now,
meadows, fields, and woods, he'll not avow.
No more sneezing, no, not he,
his existence fading, small and wee.
No more hopping, life's desire flown,
the light a mere and muted tone.
The world is changed, so empty now,
a clattering stork descends somehow.
"Hark, child, hark!", the wind does blow,
before the eye can truly know,
what has happened, what appears,
as human spirit unites the spheres.
Will all soon fade and disappear?
Life calls, come in, draw near, draw near!
The soul, my strength, so strong and bold,
a light shines forth, bright and untold.
Renounce all things that are and seem,
for life's sake, its fleeting dream,
with joy and sorrow, intertwined?
I do not know, the answer undefined.
Sometimes upwards, sometimes down we go,
sometimes dark, sometimes in colors aglow,
if things stay good, we're healthy, free,
Bertha dances, laughs with glee.
She jumps and twirls, with joyful zest,
God be with her, and grant her rest!
Happy and cheerful, without a doubt,
embraced by life, all round about.
A wreath adorns her head so fine,
joy will be hers, a gift divine,
completely hers, in this dance so free,
a life of brilliance, for all to see.
