Another exciting and splendiferous episode is ahead for you!

We continue our Financial Literacy and Value series brought to you by our Earthling friends @Wealthie.Works.  Just to refresh your memories, Wealthie is a saving, investing and financial literacy platform for kids and families.

And funny that you should mention saving and investing, because in this episode, Bertolt and Bee are reminded of Mama Pam's  advice on money from allowance, "You can save some, share some or invest some!" So... why not invest in strawberries? I mean, come on, they taste way better than money.

Did you know that in ancient Roman times they used salt as currency. And the Latin word for salt is “sal.” So that is where the very difficult language of English got the word “salary” from. Isn't that splendiferous? Now, if we started buying goods and services with strawberries, we could call our salary "strawberry-ary"... or maybe just "strawberry".  Tomato, tomato! Ugh, this English!!

How They Discovered Earth.

In the final part of this adventure, Bertolt and Bee find a new home on Earth, welcomed with open arms by Randy and Pam (with a twist), and a new family blossoms.

It reminds us that we can find a home anywhere and with anyone as long as there is love, and an open heart and mind.

This is only just the beginning of Bertolt and Bee's adventures on Earth, however, as they will go on to discover ice cream, and grandparents, and friendships, and school, and jobs, and money, and everything a human child discovers throughout their childhood. After all, everything in life was "alien" to each of us at one point or another.

Welcome back, Everyone!

In this part of how Bertolt and Bee discovered Earth, they finally make first contact with the Earth Aliens, Pam and Randy. Big emotions are explored as they try to make sense of one another. There is no right or wrong way to act when meeting alien life forms for the first time. All emotions are welcome! But a good strategy is to always lead with kindness. 

As our Announcer says, "Compassion and understanding are traits of some of the most evolved species in the universe!"

Welcome Back! Hope you all have had a splendiferous time listening to our audio series.

In this part, we learn about FEAR, and how things that are different or foreign to us can be scary sometimes. But different doesn't mean bad. For instance, we all have different tastes in music. While Randy may like Stevie or Bob or Mozart, Bee and Pam love their Taylor Swift. Learning about each other's  differences is what makes life so wonderful and exciting.  

Also, the more you learn about something, the less scary it will be! Bing bong!

In this part, Bertolt and Bee learn a big lesson on kindness! They learn that it's important to always (let's say it together)... LEAD WITH KINDNESS! Exacta-tootee!
 
If you have nothing to add, you can always add kindness. You can not control how others will act, but can always control how you respond. And that fits perfectly with Pam and Randy's family motto... "Try hard and be kind."

Part 3 is all about perspective, and how no two people (or other beings) see things the exact same way. We all have our own way of seeing things. What makes one person excited, may make another terrified. We learn so much about friends, family, or extraterrestrial life just by understanding their perspective.

In this part, Bertolt and Bee will learn how to be good listeners.  A conversation is like a game of catch, like passing a ball back and forth, you also pass your words back and forth. Meaning, we let others finish their thought before we give ours. 

Meanwhile, our Announcer teaches us a lesson on trying things! It's the only way to learn and gain knowledge. The more you try, the more you'll know.

Meet Bertolt and Bee! Traveling on their spaceship with their newly adopted Earthling-parents, Bertolt and Bee are now recounting, reenacting, and recording all of their adventures for the folks back home on their Alien planet, in their own fun and silly way.

The first adventure is, of course, How They Discovered Earth!

The main theme of this adventure is all about perspective, and how everyone has their own way of understanding and experiencing things. For instance, Bertolt and Bee may seem like Aliens to us, but we also seem like Aliens to them! So it’s important that we try to understand things from everyone's perspective. 

In Part One, Bertolt and Bee also learn lessons on hard work and how teasing isn't always fun, especially for the one getting teased.
