You need a personal brand to stand out in a saturated market in any industry, but especially in Network Marketing. Your success is about building a brand that's true to you and who you were created to be...otherwise, you'll build a business that's a counterfeit of you and you'll constantly encounter seasons of being stuck, having setbacks -- or worse, you'll be building someone else's "dream" and not your own.

A personal brand lets you stay relevant no matter what you end up doing over the years--whether that's if you switch companies or pivot niches. Now I wouldn't recommend jumping from company to company, but if circumstances were to change for whatever reason...having a personal brand would help you have a smoother transition from one business to another.

Part of building your personal brand in a way that's authentic to you is having a strategy and only using old-school network marketing methods is NOT a strategy that works in 2022. At the same time, you can't just focus on social media or new school methods either. The winning combo is when you combine the two in a way that feels good to you.

Let's just say being an MLM robot doesn’t help you stand out--it actually turns people away because you're not being YOU!

This is why I emphasize the importance of being social on social media and networking in real life too. Relationships are built through networking and at the end of the day, we're in the relationship-building business and people buy from people they know, like, and trust. Without a relationship, they won't do business with you as a customer or as a team member.
