I'm an author, speaker, and podcast host.

My podcast is called Let's Know Things and my blog is Exile Lifestyle. I bring in about three million people a year between the two, and couldn't be happier to reach such a diverse, international audience.

I've written over thirty books, from travel memoirs to books about entrepreneurship to science fiction novels. I also co-founded a publishing company called Asymmetrical Press.

As a speaker, I've presented to groups of thousands and crowds of five at schools and businesses and conferences around the world, and I enjoy having the chance to share concepts I care about in a variety of settings.

Back in the day, I ran a branding studio where I helped businesses and individuals understand who they were so they could more clearly and concisely communicate their message to their audience. I still consult on the same topic from time-to-time, and I sometimes teach classes on design- and publishing-related topics both in person and online.

I've traveled full-time since 2009, moving to a new country every four months based on the votes of my readers. I'm currently spending two years in the US for a similar project, but I still travel regularly and ask my audience to help me decide where to go next.

The things that are the most painful to hear are typically the most valuable.
