JD Weinstein helps startups scale through Oracle’s rich enterprise ecosystem, cloud solutions, & global customer network. He previously served as Principal of WPP Ventures, the strategic venture capital fund for WPP, the world's largest marketing communications company. He focused on venture investments in tech-enabled companies in MarTech, big data & market intelligence, RetailTech, AdTech, and content. Prior to WPP, JD worked with Capital Factory as a Venture Associate, where he was responsible for deal sourcing & due diligence for the CF Accelerator & venture fund. Outside of the startup ecosystem, JD is a certified paddleboard yoga instructor and diehard Texas Longhorn Basketball fan!

As Venture Principal, Jill manages the Capital Factory Venture Fund and new investment opportunities. Prior to becoming Principal, Jill was a Senior Associate at Capital Factory, where she sourced and invested in startup companies for their Ventures portfolio and Investment Fund.
Prior to Capital Factory, Jill launched her career in venture capital at Loeb Enterprises, billionaire Michael Loeb's private family office in NYC. At Loeb Enterprises, Jill evaluated new investment opportunities and worked extensively with portfolio companies such as Thnks and AllTheRooms. Jill's passion for venture capital is fueled by her desire to help historically underrepresented groups have access to capital in order to build the future of our world.
Outside of her role as Venture Principal at Capital Factory, Jill is an angel investor and member of Beam Angel Network. Current angel investments include ZenBusiness and Tabella.

Rachel Holtin is the founder of @AustinFoodstagram, a food, style and travel blog based in Austin, TX. Holtin moved to Austin in 2010 to attend the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a degree in Communications. She has since run social media & influencer marketing programs for Favor Delivery as well as starting her own Influencer Marketplace for bloggers and brands to connect called Trend.io In 2018, Holtin went full-time on her blog, and focuses her attention on creating content for brand partners and local restaurants.

We sat down with Claire Hansen, a venture capitalist focused on early funding stages who has worked in the Austin ecosystem since 2015. Claire serves as Principal at Firebrand Ventures, a Seed stage fund with General Partners based in Boulder and Kansas City. Claire's prior experience includes working with investors and startups at Capital Factory, Central Texas Angel Network, and the U.S. Army.
