Bethany Bible Church

We make disciples everywhere, knowing Jesus is with us anywhere.

The clearest evidence that we belong to Jesus is a love shaped by the way Jesus has loved us.

A disciple bears lasting fruit by remaining connected to Jesus.

A Disciple Denies Self

Following Jesus means daily surrendering control of our lives to Him.

Jesus calls ordinary people to follow Him into a new life and a greater mission.

Four truths from this passage:

Jesus sees ordinary people.

Jesus calls us to Himself before He sends us into mission.

Jesus forms what He calls.

Jesus calls us to leave lesser things for greater things.

Faithful disciples endure because God sees the battle, knows the future, and promises victory in the end.

Faithful disciples perceive the world with clarity, remain focused on God’s throne, and transform uncertainty into prayer.

Faithfulness must be built in private in order to succeed in public.
