We don’t usually drift on purpose. We drift when life gets busy, when pain gets heavy, when distractions get loud, and when we slowly stop paying attention to what matters most.

As we kick off our new series through the book of Hebrews, we’re reminded of one powerful truth: Jesus is better. He is not just another messenger from God — He is the final Word. He is the way, the truth, and the life. He came near, took on flesh, bore our sin, tasted death, and made a way for us to come home.

Hebrews 2:1 says, “We must pay attention all the more to what we have heard, so that we will not drift away.”

What does it really mean to pray for others? Intercession is more than a prayer category. It is standing in the gap, bringing people before the great Intercessor, Jesus.

Brockton Miller, from Noble County Community Church & Eden Prayer Room, shares how intercession points us to the heart of the Gospel. From Moses standing between God and the people, to Jesus praying for us in John 17, to the Lord’s Prayer inviting us to pray, “Your kingdom come,” we see that intercession has always been part of God’s redemptive story.

The Church was never meant to be a place we simply attend. The Church is a people sent on mission.

In the final week of our We Are The Church series, Pastor Ryan Lutz teaches from Acts 2:47 and reminds us that we don’t just gather—we go. The early Church worshiped together, grew together, and lived on mission together. Their faith wasn’t confined to a room; it became a witness to the world around them.
