The Lord's Supper is the most important part of our worship service. 1 Peter 1: 17-25. We may forget the words to the songs, or the words spoken during the sermon, but we can never forget what Jesus did for us on Calvary.

Deuteronomy 6: 5-13 Put God first, even before your family. Who you put first will determine by who's rules you live by.

Matthew 10:37 "Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me” Proverbs 16:3 “Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.” We must pass our trust in God on to our children and grandchildren.

Due to a technical problem, today's sermon was recorded after the service. In Genesis 2: 15 “Then the Lord God took the man and put him into the Garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it.” Cultivating can be hard work. There are many scriptures that speak to our work. Some are very strong. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 says if you do not work you do not eat. Psalm 128 encourages work saying when you eat of the fruit of your hands (your labor) you will be happy and it will be well with you. In Colossians it tells us don’t do you job begrudgingly, with a smile on the outside and a frown on the inside. The scripture says don’t do the work just to please men, but do it as if you WERE TRYING TO PLEASE GOD. Preform your duty with a sincere heart. Do it because you want to do it.

Friendship is more than the click of a button on Facebook. John 15; 12-15. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. This is my commandment that you love one another as I have loved you.

Everyone is given a measure of faith. Romans 12: 1-3, 2 Corinthians 5: 7, What is faith? Hebrews 11:1, Faith Comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, Romans 10: 17. Everyone has faith to one degree or another. We need to transfer that faith into our relationship with Jesus. We need to place our faith in the nail scared hands of Christ.
