Our enemy is more intelligent and stronger than we are, constantly plotting our demise. If we do not take him seriously, we will be defeated. Fortunately, God has not only given us the instructions to prepare us for life but also the resources to live life victoriously.

God's plan to control you is not to make you miserable but to make you understand and enjoy life. He wants you to have a heart that is principled and pliable.

In life, we are all following someone. There are people that we look up to and emulate. Jesus calls us to ultimately mimic Him. He does not want us to conform to the world but to seek to pattern our lives according to the Scriptures. In this passage, Paul gives us some efficient steps on what this looks like.

Just as crude oil needs to be refined to be usable, God plans to refine you daily to make you into the image of Jesus Christ. He loves you just the way that you are, but He does not want you to stay that way. He is working, often slowly and silently, to refine you into Christlikeness.

Paul spoke about the tragic mindset that the unbeliever lives by today; however, his focus was not on them but on the believer. He reminds us that we must be careful not to listen to their way of thinking and embrace their mindset but to keep our minds renewed daily by spending time with Jesus Christ through His Word and in prayer.

A host of things divide people and churches; however, God has a plan to unite the church. In fact, the church should be one of the safest places on earth. Jesus Christ should be the main thing that unites us. The Gospel is the mission that activates us.

In this message, we will see four things that God wants to do in your life to help transform you into the image of Jesus Christ, and then He will remind us of one very important truth.

The Apostle Paul gave some shocking news to the church in Ephesus. It is not shocking to us since it has been typical for the past 2,000 years; however, it was shocking to them. The mystery that has been solved is that God intends to include all people into one unified group that will worship Him forever. His new plan is the Church, and all true believers from the beginning of time make up the Israel of God.

In this sermon, we will take a look at three scenes that took place on Calvary. We will see Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son, Isaac. We then head to Calvary and see David's sin in numbering the people and God's willingness to forgive. Finally, we walk beside Christ as He enters Jerusalem and presents Himself as the Messiah. These three scenes remind us of the horrors of sin and the grace of God.
