The leadership of the Holy Spirit and the timing of God, that’s really what this whole study is about. There is a timing to the things of God. What may not have been the will of God in one season did not and does not mean that it would not be the will of God in the next.

 Even though this was God’s will, the will of God would not have become evident. In the same way, we should take away from this passage that God’s power is available to touch people’s lives, but it requires our participation to bring His will for people into manifestation

It's not need that moves God, but it's faith in him and His Word. Like the Israelites, if you humble yourselves, recognize your inabilities, and call on Him - if you will put your faith in Him - He will intervene on your behalf as well

In order to embrace this moving of the Spirit of God, we can’t hold on to the rigid mindsets and traditional ways of thinking. We must be moldable and stretchable to embrace the new wine He is pouring out. We are not talking about changing the essence of who we are, but changing the manifestation of who we are to keep up with what God is going to do.

Leadership Meeting at Shady Oaks Church October 14, 2023

God was at work in the lives of Judah, Joseph and Jacob and their walk with God changed them for the better.  What does that say to us?  As long as we continue walking with God, God, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever, seeks to do the same with us.

The new wine is a moving of His Spirit in and among us that requires flexibility to contain it. In order to experience this new expression of what God is wanting to do, we must be willing to let go of what we have been doing, to embrace the new of what He is wanting us to experience in fulfilling our God-given destiny.
