God is holy. We are not. Plain and simple. Our sin has alienated us from the Father, consequently we’ve become enemies of God (Romans 5:10). And, yet, Jesus Christ offers reconciliation. Jesus, God’s only begotten son, satisfied God’s judgment and made it possible for God’s enemies, us, to find peace with Him. Our “reconciliation” to God, then, involves the exercise of His grace and the forgiveness of our sin. What’s your response?

He is the head of this body. Indeed all men are subject to the power and providence of this King but those who are in His Kingdom of grace all acknowledge the same King, own His rightful sovereignty over them are willing to be subject to Him, to submit to His will and yield obedience to His commands."
