As we celebrate Father's Day, let's take a close look at the role of the father according to God's Word.

As we enter chapter 14, Paul and Barnabas are going from one city to another in what is now Turkey as they bring the gospel to the Jews and Greeks. On each occasion, God does incredible things through their witness and many come to believe, however they also encounter turmoil on behalf of the Jews that brings about persecution and trials.

As we continue our study in Acts and the first missionary journey of the Apostle Paul in chapter 13, we read today of an encounter that will forever change the world - God’s favor upon the Gentiles that brings salvation upon the ends of the earth.

As we continue our study in Acts and the first missionary journey of the Apostle Paul in chapter 13, we read of his journey to Antioch. On the Sabbath, Paul entered the local synagogue to preach the good news of the Gospel to the Jews there - the good news that “...through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses.”

Daniel Hill has been on staff here at Bethel since 2010 as he finished seminary at Dallas Theological Seminary. He now is embarking on a new chapter at Wheaton College in Chicago to work in furthering his ministry education.

Daniel has had quite an impact on the Bethel family - especially among young adults. Many of our young adults wanted to express gratitude to him for all that he has done to minister to them through the gospel of Jesus.
