James 1

The first chapter of James is a short form of the whole book, which assumes faith in Jesus, while encouraging a harmony between what we believe and what we live out.

Colossians 3:1-17

Paul tells the Church in Colossae to seek the things that are above. As Christians, we must pursue Christ in such a way that our lives make an impact on the earth. We're not too heavenly minded that we're no earthly good; instead, we are so focused on Jesus that we bring glory to God in everything we do.
