As we submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, we are called to submit to our earthily authorities which includes the government and employers.

As seen in 1 Peter 2:1-8, Christ is our Cornerstone, and we are living stones being built upon him by the Lord.

As a people of the exile we are called to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and pursue a life of holiness because of what Jesus has done for us.

Though suffering in inevitable in life, we can have joy in the midst of it because we have a living hope in Christ and because God has a purpose in our pain.

As elect exiles on earth we are commanded to live now for our heavenly home with a living hope in Jesus Christ.

As disciples of Jesus we are called to make disciples of Jesus. The Gospel came to us on its way to someone else.

We can imitate God by loving others through forgiveness and the giving of our time, talents, and treasures.

As a result of Isaiah's vision of God on the throne, he surrendered his life to pursue the mission of God.
