How does the church move forward? This month we have learned all about how the Christian faith was founded and where it all started, but what does that mean of the church in 2022 and beyond?

It's one thing to have faith, but how do we keep it healthy? It seems as if maintaining a healthy faith can be impossible, but it does not have to be. Our faith wasn't founded so we can sit still and watch as the world burns. Our faith was founded on an action. A purpose. To evangelize and reach people for Christ. That is why when Jesus left He gave us a very clear directive: to go and make disciples. So, how do you fit into that?

Our faith has a long history that spans across the globe, but how was Christianity founded? It all started with Jesus, but when the day of Pentecost came, our faith was changed forever. In the books of Acts the Bible tells us of how the Holy Sprit was poured out on man, and how the words of Jesus still echo into today: "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father."

Faith without obedience... well, it isn't faith. In order to fully follow God we must be obedient to what He asks of us. Thankfully, our God never asks too much. In this sermon, Pastor Eric talks to us about having obedience: especially when it is hard!
