Relationships of any kind can be tricky but the Gospel of Jesus gives us a grand picture of how we are to live relationally with each other. Jesus wants us to live out everything and anything we possibly can but with people. He also created us to live relationally to encourage each other and not tear each other down. The news is saturated with all kinds of ways the world try to tear us down. Even the church can be blamed for tearing people down, but this is not the heart of Jesus. Jesus wants us to love, encourage, trust, and empower those around us.

The good news of the gospel it speaks into how we are suppose to live in community. When hit with the truth it forces us to take in consideration patterns and rhythms we have and shift them with the holy spirit. The word of God is powerful and God doesn't use it for us to stay in place but rather come along with him in this new life he has created for us.

We've heard the phrase "Good News" many times throughout Christianity, but what does it really mean? Is it truly good? Pastor Jon takes us through the core doctrine of the gospel, and at its root we find a loving God who came to invite us into a new life with him.

The Gospel tells us how we are to live here on earth and it isn't a life lived in the media, sometimes we have to turn off what's going on around us and tune into what the Lord is speaking to us. It is our job as the church to "arise and shine, not complain and hide." To be influencers at our work, school, and communities for the light of Jesus. This weekend Pastor Joe Poni from Innovation Church, Stockton lays these things out according to the Gospel and what our response is to be as the church.

Jesus tells us in scripture of a story about a man with a speck in his eye and a man with a log in his eye. Referring to how we critic one another Jesus tells us how God wants us to not judge and instead listen and love with grace and understand.

Shame can be a powerful topic for everyone in humanity. It can be our greatest fear and separation from God's unrelenting love. We look into the topic of humanity's shame and how God responds to this with his perfect love.

Jesus' greatest command to his disciples was to love one another like he had loved them. This Sunday we dive deep into the topic of how Jesus modeled his love to those closest to him and there responsibility for those in there community and neighborhoods.
