Our Associate pastor preaches the lectionary from Mark 1; 14-26

Annually, on Baptism of the Lord Sunday, which we delayed a week to do Epiphany last week, we celebrate our baptism and renew our covenant with God.

We used this Sunday at Epiphany Sunday- Matthew 2: 1-12; we also used the hymn "In the Bleak Midwinter as the basis for talking about it. It is Communion Sunday.

Our Associate Pastor preaches from Luke 2: 22-40

This is one of those unusual years when Dec. 24 is on Sunday and is in the morning Fourth Sunday of Advent and in the evening Christmas Eve. Here we take 2 Samuel 7, the OT lesson, and hear the promise that God will make a house. We see it fulfilled in an angel's promise to Mary: You will have a son.

This is our annual cantata presented by our Youth and Chancel Choirs. It's always a moving and wonderful thing.

It's Christ the King Sunday, the last Sunday of the church year!

This is Commitment/Pledge Sunday, when we pledge our next year's budget. Our guest preacher, was our District Superintendent. He used the Good Samaritan parable.
