A book that I read recently, as part of my used resolutions, was the 5 AM club. It was a good read, and I’d be happy to do a summarized version of it, but one of the main takeaways that I got from it was the 20:20:20 principle that allows you to elevate your life by elevating your morning. So the good news is that you don’t have to wake up at 5 AM to apply it, the idea is just to divide the first hour of your day into 20 minute increments. The first increments is to sweat to wake you up and release cortisol. The second, is to journal and meditate. The third is to educate yourself, by listening to audiobooks, reading, or watching an educational segment. This was the routine that I follow this morning, and I couldn’t feel more energized now, four hours later!
