1-in 8 women will get diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States in their lifetime and yet women still have to fight for proper healthcare.  Today I'm talking to Philecia La'Bounty about being misdiagnosed and being told she had a benign cyst at 29.  She was in the best shape of her life, internationally modeling, and she didn't look or feel sick.  She had never had an issue.  Blindsided by a diagnosis she's now spreading awareness about the importance of getting a mammogram and biopsies.  As seen on the Dr. Phil show for medical gaslighting, Good Morning America, and in People Magazine, Philecia is now getting all the testing she needs and is on a mission to save other people.  Better Call Daddy: The Safe Space for Controversy.

He has earned an MA in Missional Leadership from Northwest University, an MA in Theological Studies from Southeastern University, and a PhD in Intercultural Studies from Assembly of God Theological Seminary.

Dr. Fox lectures in a number of colleges, universities, and organizations in the United States and overseas. If you have not met Dr. Fox in person, he is commonly known for communicating with intelligence, knowledge, passion, and fun.

Hector Santiesteban and I connected through a Twitter Spaces he organized around unseen challenges women face in the podcasting industry.  Hector grew up around strong women who took control and led the way!  The women were running the show! He was surprised about the underrepresentation of women in podcasting.
