Originally from New Jersey, she has hopped around the county living in Maryland, Florida, Virginia, Nevada, and California. Today's episode is a re-broadcast of the live interview I did with army veteran Oscar Stewart, the Protector of Poway Chabad at a Shul Safety Team Officer event in Chicago sponsored by the Concerned Citizen's League. 

When the shooting started in Poway that Passover, chaos erupted, and human instincts kicked in.  As an army veteran, he knew what he had to do, and didn't think twice.  Oscar did two tours during Operation Iraqi Freedom, and his training prepared him as he ran into the line of fire.

Stewart emphasized the importance of training repeatedly until the responses to a situation become instinctual.  

"Whatever it was that moved through him at that moment, it propelled Stewart into the lobby. He saw the young man — who authorities say was 19-year-old John T. Earnest — in a military-style vest wielding a semiautomatic rifle."

“Get down!” Stewart yelled in the loudest tenor he could muster.

The gunman fired two more rounds in response.

“I’m going to kill you,” Stewart boomed. This seemed to rattle Earnest, who began to flee.  Fight like you train today of the Better Call Daddy Show: The Safe Space For Controversy!  Violence and anti-semitism is unacceptable and effects the entire community!

Caroline Boudreaux is a social entrepreneur, a sales pro, and The Founder of Miracle Foundation.  Caroline grew up one of seven children, was deeply loved and believes every child deserves that!  What rights do children have?  How many are lacking love?  Have you ever wanted to quit your job and travel the world?  Better Call Daddy: The Safe Space For Controversy.

In May 2000, on Mother’s Day, Caroline’s life changed forever as she visited India for the first time and met a group of more than 100 orphaned children. The children were bald and filthy with empty-looking eyes — yet she saw their incredible potential. Since that day, she has committed her life to helping orphaned children realize that potential.

Caroline is a firecracker Cajun who was born and raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana and attended Louisiana State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Prior to her nonprofit work, she had a successful career in media advertising.

For her achievements with Miracle Foundation, Caroline has received a variety of awards including: The Hope Award, The Impact Award and the United Nations Humanitarian Award.  She is a popular speaker on topics of Reimagining Philanthropy, Social Impact vs Charity, and how to Engineer a Miracle.  

Caroline is a Young Global Leader with The World Economic Forum and has completed executive programs at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, Yale’s Jackson Institute for Diplomacy, India School of Business and Oxford University.
