  • 100% Competition

The Green Bay Packers picked up their first "win" of 2025, edging the Indianapolis Colts 23-19 in the second preseason game Saturday afternoon.

Left tackle Jordan Morgan was, once again, among the biggest positives on a day where Packers sat 29 players. Meanwhile, running back MarShawn Lloyd, unfortunately, suffered another injury, while rookie offensive lineman Anthony Belton had a forgettable day.

Andy Herman of the Pack-a-Day Podcast joins the show to discuss that, plus recap the Brewers' franchise-record 14-game winning streak!

  • Sharing a Joint

The Green Bay Packers shared the practice field with the Indianapolis Colts for joint practice before their second preseason game on Saturday.

Defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley's defense was up to the task, reportedly dominating 11-on-11 work against the Colts' offense. Meanwhile, Matt LaFleur's offense remains in rough shape, without Jordan Love and five of their top six receivers.

Mike Wahle -- an 11-year NFL veteran -- joins the show to discuss.

  • Wheels Up

While quarterback Jordan Love nurses an injured left thumb, the Green Bay Packers head to Indianapolis for joint practice Thursday and their second preseason game against the Colts on Saturday.

And -- NO, THIS DOESN'T MEAN LOVE IS "INJURY-PRONE," which should go without saying, but apparently not because we've failed as a society.

CBSSports.com NFL reporter John Breech joins the show to discuss the Packers' place in the NFC, as well as Shedeur Sanders' oblique and Matthew Stafford's back. Colts reporter Kevin Bowen joins the show with the scoop from Indianapolis before the Packers come to town.

  • Thumbs Down

Packers quarterback Jordan Love had a "little procedure" on his left thumb, and will miss at least this week of practice. Meanwhile, the team turns to Malik Willis as "QB1" as they head to Indianapolis for joint practice and their second preseason game.

Cam Ezeir from WFRV joins the show to discuss the recent rash of injuries, which includes wide receiver Romeo Doubs getting hurt late at Tuesday's practice, while the team is still without receivers Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks. Busy day, indeed.

  • (almost) ALL BAD

The Green Bay Packers' preseason opener was a dud, as they got outclassed at home by the New York Jets. The 30-10 final score doesn't necessarily matter, but it was flat-out ugly for the home team.

Still, Marques highlights the few positives including wide receiver Matthew Golden, lineman Jordan Morgan and defensive end Barryn Sorrell, as well as the plethora of problems that plagued the Packers in their first exhibition game. Andy Herman of the Pack-a-Day Podcast shared his thoughts on the game, and Matt LaFleur's plan to get the starters a little more work in the Preseason.

  • The First Bite

The Green Bay Packers open the Preseason against the New York Jets at Lambeau Field. The starters are expected to play, although how much remains to be seen.

However, from rookie wide receivers Matthew Golden and Savion Williams to the defense's emphasis on punching at the football, there's plenty to watch throughout the Preseason. Marques highlights stuff to watch in the Preseason, including now-cornerback Bo Melton and undrafted defensive tackle Nazir Stackhouse.

  • Golden Hands

Packers rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden had another impressive day at Training Camp, making an incredible touchdown catch from Jordan Love. Meanwhile, safety Xavier McKinney is dealing with a calf injury that could keep him out until the regular season.

Former Packers offensive guard -- an 11-year NFL veteran -- joins the show to discuss, as well as the annual debate about whether or not starters should play in the Preseason.

  • Winning Defense

The Green Bay Packers had another eventful practice at Ray Nitschke Field, where second-year linebacker Edgerrin Cooper reminded everyone that he's really good. Meanwhile, cornerback Keisean Nixon continued his standout play this summer as "CB1."

Wide receiver Romeo Doubs stayed hot, catching a touchdown in the RedZone Period ... but the day was dominated by Jeff Hafley's defense. (Which has become a theme this summer...)

Oh, and the Milwaukee Brewers remain the hottest team in baseball. Vinny Rottino from FanDuel Sports Network joins the show to discuss.

  • Doubs up & Hobbs down

Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs had the play of the day at the longest practice of Training Camp, while cornerback Nate Hobbs is likely to miss the remainder of camp after undergoing a knee scope.
