Robin went to school for communications and started in commercial real estate after school. This was her first exposure to entrepreneurship and what it’s like to build something from scratch. She started experiencing challenges keeping up with her health due to the demands of the job which lead to her finding and starting to experiment with Pilates. Her interest grew and she started teaching pilates in person before realizing that online pilates instruction was scalable. This was 15 years ago and very much the beginning of Lindywell and she calls herself an “accidental entrepreneur.”
Robin’s story isn’t without its challenges. She had 4 kids that were 5 and under and often felt like she wasn’t fully in either world; as a mother and as an entrepreneur.
