Forgiveness. What does that look like to you? What does it feel like? We have been given the power to forgive because we have first handedly experienced forgiveness. "For God so love the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone (that's the whosoever) believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life." Although I am not worthy, Jesus Christ paid it all! My confession in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and that God raised Him from the dead, then, I am saved. John 3:16 is woven and connected to forgiveness. God's love initiates forgiveness, forgiveness is the doorway through which eternal life becomes possible, and the gift of the Son is the mechanism of forgiveness because Jesus bears what we could not. Thank God for the gift of forgiveness throughout the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
