This is the opening episode to Better Than Not explaining how the podcast came about.

Though the working title was "A Changing Frame of Reference" in line with my Substack series of the same name, the format of the podcast is more about capturing a conversation about shifting perspectives. In some of the podcasts you'll hear me refer to the podcast cast by the working title.

Better Than Not came from my activities early on in the publishing of my books: The Actor, The Drive In and The Musician. People often asked me with all the things I was doing to promote and market my work, what was I getting out of it? What things worked and what things didn't? My response became, "I don't know exactly but I do know that it's better than not doing them." Better Than Not became a catch phrase with those around me as to what I was doing.
