While many churches have resumed meeting in person for worship services, ministry still looks very different. Dr. Kelton Hinton joins the podcast to describe the need for a more "family first" style of ministry, moving from an attractional model of ministry to a missional model.

As a coach and athletic director, Greg Fawbush's focus is to cultivate the talents of young people so that they can excel in athletics while pursuing a life pleasing to Christ. He gives specific pointers for parents on maintaining the balance of faith and athletics for their children.

 

Greg coached women's baskeball at Seffner Christian Academy for 22 years before becoming athletic director and men's basketball coach at Welch College in 2017. He was inducted into the National Athletic Association of Private Schools Hall of Fame in 2019.

Dr. Greg Ketteman, Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and Graduate Dean of Education at Welch College, spent thirty years in the public school systems. He shares how his experience as an educator, coach, and principal was an opportunity to be salt and light in the public schools.

As school resumes across the nation in one form or another, school counselor Molly Hudgens joins the podcast to encourage parents as they prepare their children to return to class.

 

Molly serves as school counselor for Sycamore Middle School in Pleasant View, Tennessee. She was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor Citizens Honor in 2017 after she talked a student with a loaded handgun out of committing a mass shooting.

Jeff Nichols joins the podcast to share why it is critical that churches continue to minister to children, and how churches can minister to children in their community by starting a Good News Club in the local school. Jeff serves as the state director for Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) of Tennessee.

Evangelist Bobby Jackson and Dr. Robert Picirilli first met at Free Will Baptist Bible College (now Welch College) singing together as part of The Gospeliers quartet, and developed a friendship that has stood the test of time for the last 60 years. They reminisce about their time together and share the value of good friendships and how to maintain them.

On the heels of a historic National Convention, Dr. Robert E. Picirilli joins the podcast to discuss how preserving our rich history gives Free Will Baptists a sense of identity and an appreciation for who we are.
