Forbes recently reported some startling facts that shed light on the stark gender divide among top performing artists. Researchers looked at the 700 top songs on Billboard’s year end Hot 100 tracks and found that only 2.1% of these songs were produced by women. Here at Better Together Records, we are committed to being gender inclusive in everything we do, from ensuring women are included on our event line-ups, to Better Together Radio features, to our release schedule.


In Today’s episode We spotlight Femme House, a non-profit organizaiton, Fostering more equitable opportunity for women and gender-expansive individuals in music, founded By hermixalot and LP Giobbi.
Since their founding they have produced a weekly show on Sirius XM’s Diplo & Friends, created “She is the producer” a free production bootcamp in partnership with “She is the Music” and “we are moving the needle” They have launched an online academy taked by over 3600 individuals, and have committed to diversifying the biggest live stream stages with partners like insomniac, desert hearts and Bandsintown
