It's the end of the year as we know it! We made it...barely. Man, what a ride 2020 has been. This week we talk about some of the year's biggest moments in history including the pandemic that has changed our world in so many ways. It has been challenging but we soldiered on and here we all are, awaiting to see what 2021 has in store for us. We keep it light this episode. The year has been heavy enough as it is. Congratulations! You have successfully passed level 364 of the year 2020. It is now September and this feels like the longest 9 months of life. It's been heavy y'all and we at BWC had decided to take a step back to take care of ourselves and loved ones. But we're back again! Thank you for your patience and sticking with us. 

This week we talk about all the craziness of 2020 so far, how we've been coping and most importantly remembering and reflecting on the life of the talented, humble, brilliant, ambitious, wise and impactful life artist, Chadwick Boseman. The sudden and devastating news impacted all of us, especially the Black community. His legacy will live on forever and will continue to be the real life Superhero for all of us. Rest in Power. 

Welcome back BWC fam! 2020 continues to be on especially for the Black community and this week we start part 1 of a series dedicated to expressing, educating and reiterating the importance of Black history, Black lives and Black excellence. This week we are joined by our good friend Vashti of Wisdom Darkmvtter to share our thoughts and frustrations with the current climate in the world of anti-Blackness and the unnecessary deaths of unarmed Black people at the hands of law enforcement and the continual oppression of systemic racism.
