Ben Mathewson, President of Ropeadope Records, AKA the Sabres GIF guy.  Ben joins Kevin and TJ to discuss his life outside of cutting snippets of remarkable Sabres game moments. Get a brief yet detailed look into Ben's day-to-day at Ropeadope and learn about some cool Ropeadope releases in the process! 

Kevin really thought Jack Eichel would be traded by the time I put this episode out (as of episode submission, he's still on the roster), so we didn't even talk about it. We can't even bit it anymore. We brought on Micah McCurdy, maker of your favorite hockey charts and visuals, to talk about one of his favorite albums: Stereolab's Dots and Loops. 

Kevin and TJ venture outside of Buffalo towards Winnipeg for their next guest. No, the Sabres still haven't traded Rasmus Ristolainen for Nikolaj Ehlers, but we still wanted to bring John Malloy on to talk one of his favorite records with massive psychedelic pop influences. 

Video games like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater changed the game in terms of game developers opting to use work from contemporary artists rather than creating or scoring their own. EA Sports took that approach and extended it to their game menus, at first giving new artists more opportunities to have their music heard. Our guest Victoria joins us to discuss how these soundtracks shaped her musical tastes in her life and how others can connect to music in this way. 

Friend of the pod Joe Yerdon joins Kevin and TJ to talk about all the Sabres games he's attended and to tease a Radiohead epis... I mean he comes on to talk about prog rock and metal.
