Between A Rock and A Scarred Place

In this episode I discuss my thoughts on what this phrase meant to me and the actual meaning of it and the parallel of scripture that God have to me in Genesis 11:1-9. And as always, encouraging my listeners to embrace their “sound”.

I wanted to start this Tuesday with a prayer of encouragement to remind us to encourage ourselves even when we don’t want or feel like doing it. No matter how big or small the storm is, God has not forgotten us. And even if we lose everything, God will give it all back with interest.

In this episode I discuss if Ruth did more than lay at Boaz feet. I also discuss the need to stop romanticizing Ruth and Boaz and pushing women to find their Boaz because it doesn’t end well.

Today I discuss a post that I read where a young man basically says that he can’t wife a woman who isn’t doing wife duties or he at least claims that women should be doing wife duties before being wifed up (not verbatim). So let’s define what this thing we call “wife duties” really is.

Today’s episode I discuss my thoughts on life being a scam. I also talk about all of the things that are going on around us and the different challenges that we face to provide the lives that we want for ourselves and our families.

In this episode I discuss the mental space that I have been feeling since my last episode. I talk about the kids going back to school. I also talk about the stress that I have been feeling at work and wanting to “quietly quit”. I also say a prayer for our children and teachers for this school year. And as always, I encourage those of you that have been so kind to listen.

Today’s episode details what has been going on in my journey for the past two weeks. It was a very low point for me and I wanted to stay in it. Fortunate for me, I have people in my life that keep me grounded and encouraged and wouldn’t let me linger there long.
