A raw and uncut (even with all the distractions in the background) conversation with my good friend and mentor Brother Shahin.
Brother Shahin is a qualified secondary school teacher who has been working with young people in the community of Tower Hamlets for the past decade. He is also the founder and CEO of Sunnah Trust @sunnahtrustuk, an innovative grass-roots organisation which empowers young people through skill-development and via the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (saw).
In this deep and painstaking discussion, we delve into the social challenges and trials faced by the youth of today and yesteryear, we explore who is actually to blame for allowing our youth to become so misguided and we also discuss how YOU can get involved with your local community and be a catalyst for change in your community! This is only a flavour of our lengthy debate. Listen in to get a further taste!
If you have a genuine concern for the community around you, this is definitely a conversation you must get involved in!
The first episode of this brand-new podcast, only and solely about the Prophet Muhammad (saw). In this episode we discuss why Prophet Muhammad (saw) is the greatest of all leaders and why he is worthy of being followed. We also touch upon Muhammad as an influencer and how he differs to the modern social-media influencers of today. And lastly we discuss how we can do justice to our leader Prophet Muhammad and how we can begin to appreciate him and inculcate his Sunnah in our lives. This opening episode provides you with an opportunity to identify and form a personal bond and relationship with Prophet Muhammad (saw), which you can continue to build and develop as we begin todelve deeper into his life and sunnah in future episodes inshaAllah. Welcome to this journey and long may it continue, Ameen!
