Between Sundays: A Podcast of Christ Community Church

What does it mean to be faithful to Scripture—and why does it matter? In this episode, Alyssa Poblete and Pastor Ric talk about the Bible as more than just truth—it’s Truth itself. They explore how Scripture shapes our church, our beliefs, and how we live, especially in a culture always shifting. Whether you're new to the Bible or looking to deepen your engagement, this episode offers clarity, encouragement, and practical steps forward.

In this conversation, Ric and Alyssa explore what it truly means to center everything we do—our worship, community, and mission—around the good news of Jesus. Together they unpack how the gospel shapes both the life of the church and the lives of individual believers, and why being gospel-centered is more than a slogan—it’s the foundation for everything.

We begin our first season of Between Sundays by unpacking one of our church’s core values—a phrase we return to often: for the glory of God and the good of His people. Pastor Ric and Alyssa share why this conviction is central to who we are as a church, how it shapes our life together, and what it means for ordinary discipleship throughout the week.
