In Part 2 of our conversation on LGBTQ+, identity, homosexuality, and Scripture, we go deeper into what it means to follow Jesus faithfully in a culture that is constantly telling us who we are and what should define us.

Can we hold firmly to biblical conviction while genuinely loving people? What does it look like to speak the truth in love? Because Jesus doesn't call us to simply follow our feelings, culture, or desires.

He calls us to follow Him.

This conversation isn't about attacking people or winning arguments.

It's about Jesus.

It's about learning to hold truth and love together.

It's about recognizing that every one of us needs grace.

And it's about discovering what happens when we stop allowing culture to have the final word about our identity and allow Jesus and His Word to shape who we're becoming.

WHO GETS TO DEFINE ME? (Identity, Culture & What Scripture Says)

We’re stepping into one of the most important, and most personal, conversations our generation is having. LGBTQ+. Identity. Sexuality. Culture. Scripture. Jesus. And we’re not running from the hard questions.

Before we ask, “What does Scripture say about sexuality?” we have to ask a bigger question: “Who gets to define me?” Culture? My feelings? My desires? My experiences? My sexuality? Or does Jesus get the final word?

This conversation isn’t about mocking people, creating an “us vs. them,” or pretending these questions aren’t complicated. It’s about Jesus. Truth. Scripture. Grace. And people.

Because our identity isn’t ultimately something culture gets to construct for us. As followers of Jesus, our deepest identity is something we receive in Christ.

And Part 1 is just the beginning.
