I have struggles, beyond just recording this episode. When I consider my contribution to my perspective it helps me find what I am looking for. All too often what is being 'found' is external without awareness of looking for it. This one might be messy, but that's life and that's my experience I want to share with you and honor the intent of this podcast.

The Unknown is a huge part of BTE events because it is truly an amazing thing. It is often viewed as darkness and a place where doubt, fear, and insecurities fester. These things block out the light and can keep us from truly knowing ourselves in ways we couldn't see if not for the Unknown. Jump into the Unknown and get to know yourself in a way that cannot be known otherwise.

"Mental Toughness" is a term I hardly ever use, on purpose. I think it is misunderstood and spun out of control, commoditized and pumped out to the masses in a misleading way. Frankly, I have tried to avoid association with it because what I believe it is and what I see it being promoted as are often at odds with each other. I've been in the 'mental toughness' space for a while, keeping my eyes and ears open and my mouth shut, sometimes painfully. I will no longer remain quiet about mental toughness. Here are my thoughts and opinions on the topic.

It's a big question. I think most of my life I have been in search of this answer. I take a stab at answering this question here in an honest and unrehearsed way. I will admit it wasn't easy to do. I also know it won't be the last time I ask myself "Who am I?"
