Like his father and grandfather before him, he's now driving trucks all around North America, and uploading plenty of photos along the way of old towboats and where they've been.

Calvin has been in the industry for 13 years and became a Tankerman after just a few years on the water. He shares some stories from his career, and from his life before and now.

In this episode of Between the Levees, I'm joined by yet another AEP alum. Tim Callahan was the Senior Manager of Operations for AEP River Ops when I got my start in the industry. He has since become a certified marine surveyor working for himself. We chat about his father's maritime career and, as per usual, walk through his forty years of experience out here.

I'm joined (again) by retired Coast Guard Vet, Brandon Hansen. Our first meeting ran into rather persistent internet connectivity issues, but we were finally able to reconvene to share his story. For a few of his most recent years, he's been with ARTCo in a Health and Safety role. We talk through a storied Coast Guard career that stretched well into the Pacific, and resolve at the present day.
