The Bible says a lot about not being ignorant, but it also says that a child is on the same grounds as a worker in his own house because he is a child, even though he is an heir. There's a reason for that. It's because as a child, he's ignorant of what belong to him.  

This episode is for anyone in church leadership - youth ministry, young adult ministry - any kind of church leadership.  There is such a push to retain kids in the church after graduation because there are many that stop coming to church after high school. But there is a better way - and it just makes sense. 

A while back I had someone question me about the bad things Christians have done in history. Well, what bad things have Christians done in history? That depends on how you define what a Christian is.

I went exploring one time and came across an abandoned house. Odd thing was that there was still a power line running to the house, but no power in the house. As Christians, some times we can become that abandoned house. In this episode, I'm going to talk about why we shouldn't and how that even happen.  

As Christians, there is a proper place for our relationships. Many people think that it's important to develop relationships with other people within the church so that those individuals will stay in the church. That's not necessarily true though. Those relationships help, not just to stay in church, but in life. But those aren't the most important relationships. There is an expectation that comes with offense. For someone to have valid grounds to be offended, there has so be some expectation that has not been lived up to.
