The first time I ever saw aerial, I was certain it was not something for someone like me.

In this episode, we explore the common underlying belief that “aerial isn’t for people like me,” and why it's so powerful to break through that. I share a personal story and an unexpected realization 18 years after the first time I saw aerial for the very first time.

This conversation also touches on what it means for teaching: how our approach, presence, and small choices can shape whether someone feels like they belong from the very beginning.

There is a very cool surprise ending to this story (and no, the surprise is not that I decided to do aerial after all!)
