Based on the short story by Richard Connell, The Most Dangerous Game, tells the tale of a hunt for the deadliest animal of all...man! Through swamps and jungles...hunter against hunted. Originally aired in the early 1040s, our version takes this adventurous story and brings it to new life!
Our version of Live Radio Theater is a little bit different than what you may be thinking though. This is our attempt to pay homage to the golden age of radio theater. We found copies of classic radio shows and have recorded them in our own special way. Library patrons came together to read scripts and added sound effects using items we found around the library! Maybe we used a book for door slamming or a cookie sheet for thunder. We’ve tried to recreate sound just like they would have used way back when.
March 25th is Tolkien Reading Day. In a new series, There's A Day For That, we find those fun National Days and learn more about their history and meaning.
