Between the Stripes LOI podcast

Former Derry City defender and current Grimsby Town man, Cameron McJannet joins us on this week's show to chat among other things about THAT decision at the Brandywell last Friday.

Kieran & Gary, now card carrying members of the Dublin media it would seem, run through all the latest big talking points such as who will actually win this blood league and perhaps more importantly, who would beat who in a LOI managerial boxing series.

All this utter nonsense as well as the BTS Predictions League and Hotline are brought to you by our sponsors QuinnAv.ie

Rescued from the brink of extinction, the lads discuss the fresh takeover at Dundalk FC. Despite understandable outpourings of relief from the Dundalk fans, Gary warns of a testing road ahead for Lilywhite supporters. Kieran also reports from the 1903's public fan meeting at Oriel Park.

On the pitch, there's plenty to ponder. Can Shamrock Rovers still complete a miraculous drive for five? Could Derry City win the double? As ever, we've got in-depth First Division coverage which this week also includes the eagerly anticipated return of the BTS Kebab Review!

We've also got the predictions league and hotline on a bumper edition of the pod.

This week's pod is understandably Ireland and Dundalk FC heavy as the lads blow off some steam after a dark week for Irish football.

If you thought managing a team in the First Division was all about team selection, tactics and transfers, you are mistaken as Finn Harps manager Darren Murphy gives listeners a wonderful and detailed insight into the all consuming life of a manager in the second-tier of Irish football.

Meanwhile, Kieran & Gaz breakdown the latest twists and turns in the race for the title, Europe and the battle to avoid the drop.

We've got our full First Division coverage as ever while the lads also look ahead to Ireland v England in Dublin on Saturday.

LOI legend Dermot Keely joins us to discuss his new book, the late Jim McLaughlin, his concern for Dundalk FC, and of course, he has plenty to say about the FAI too.

Having attended Weavers Park for one of the most remarkable score lines of the season on Friday, Kieran brings us audio with Drogheda goalkeeper Luke Dennison while listeners will also hear from Stephen Kenny ahead of St.Pat's historic trip to Istanbul this week.

The lads also discuss the eleventh hour postponement of Dundalk v St.Pat's along with a number of other key topics in another riveting edition of the show.

As the episode title suggests, it's been another insane week across the LOI. From Cup upsets to calls for Rennies head and the return of Danny Mandriou.....The lads have quite a bit to pick through on this week's show.

Does anyone want this title? What's going on at Dalymount Park? Did Stephen Kenny disrespect Galway United? Will Aidan O'Brien be a hit at Tolka Park? Did only 68 people really watch Longford at the weekend? All these questions plus your hotline submissions are answered on this week's podcast.

Where do you even start this week? Duffer v Higgins, Maguire's Rebels return, Dundalk's hostile home reaction, Dawson Devoy suspension gate, Sligo Rovers v Rob Hennessey, Athlone v Kerry - The best bad game of all time?

These are just some of the many subjects covered on this week's show which also contains audio with Ruaidhrí Higgins and Brian Maher.

Derry's embarrassing Euro exit to Bruno's Magpies is discussed too but did Sunday's big Cup win rescue the week for the Candystripes?

Speaking of that cup game at the Brandywell, just how big of a job does Stephen Kenny have on his and can he work his magic in Europe against Vaduz?
