There is increasing discussion on how water is managed, both in terms of floods and droughts. With early voting for the March 3 primary underway, our latest “Between the Trees” episode features Steve Leakey, co-founder and president of the Voter Awareness Council (VAC), a local nonprofit organization established by a number of Montgomery County residents designed to help encourage and equip citizens to vote. Totally nonpartisan and unbiased, VAC’s mission is to inform and educate citizens on our local elections, improve the overall voting experience and increase voter turnout.
