As the world around us ramps up for the holidays, nature invites us to do the opposite: slow down, turn inward, and conserve our energy.
In this episode of Between the Trees, we're exploring how we can learn from nature's rhythms to prepare for the holiday season without losing ourselves in the chaos. While society encourages us to do more, achieve more, and start planning our next goals, what if this season is an invitation to pause, reconnect with ourselves, and honor what our bodies truly need?
We'll reflect on the season of growth and harvesting we've just experienced, explore the importance of rest and recovery, and share simple ways to stay grounded while navigating the busyness of the holidays. From reconnecting with nature to strengthening your daily routines, it is all about being more intentional with your commitments. You'll discover small ways to protect your energy and move through this season with greater awareness and ease.
It is not about up-heaving everything and making big changes. It's about noticing the collective energy within our surroundings and making the conscious choice to take one step towards something that feels more aligned and safe.
In this episode, we'll explore:
As you listen, ask yourself: What is one small thing I can do this week to honor my energy instead of fighting against it?
What happens when a life-changing experience shifts your entire perspective and sets you on a path you never expected?
In this episode of Between the Trees, I’m joined by Deana Paqua, a shamanic practitioner, energy healer, teacher, and spiritual mentor. Deana shares the powerful story of her near-death experience and how it became a turning point that helped lead her toward her true path of shamanic healing.
We also explore what shamanism and shamanic healing actually are, and how we can deepen our relationship with nature and our guides - no matter where we are on our journey. Deana also shares her insights on where to start in this type of work and how to approach it in an intentional, respectful way.
Whether you’re curious about near-death experiences, exploring your own spirituality, or wondering how life’s biggest shake-ups can lead to new beginnings, this conversation invites you to stay open about the experiences that shape us and the paths they may open.

Fall is coming, sweet souls!
This short, yet sweet episode touches on the very real, anxious feelings that may arise as we transition seasons - harvesting our summer memories and setting the stage for new routines.
This episode also acts as an introduction for the following guided meditation, Grounding Through Change, which is designed to support you through this funky shift.
What if the places that feel most special aren’t just about the scenery, but about the energy created by the people, traditions, and connections within them?
In this episode, I’m taking you with me to Bali—not to give you a travel recap, but to explore what this trip unexpectedly taught me about connection, authentic self-expression, intention, and the energy we create with nature, each other, and ourselves.
From traveling solo and meeting a group of new people to experiencing the warmth and spirituality woven throughout Bali, this trip left me reflecting on what it means to truly feel connected.
And perhaps the biggest question I came home with is:
How can we bring more of that feeling of connection into our everyday lives?
Come along with me as I reflect on Bali, the moments that stayed with me, and the energy I’m bringing home.
A lot of us think we need to develop our intuition and get it stronger, but really...isn't it more about remembering?
In this episode of Between the Trees, we explore what intuition really is, what it feels like, and why so many of us lose touch with it in the noise of everyday life. Whether you see intuition as your inner wisdom, your higher self, or simply a deep knowing, this conversation is an invitation to reconnect with the part of you that has been there all along.
I'll share pieces of my own journey—from learning to trust my intuition through major life decisions to recognizing the ways fear and scarcity kept me from listening, especially in dating and relationships. We'll also explore how to tell the difference between intuition and our conditioned instincts, why slowing down matters, and simple practices you can begin using today to strengthen your connection with yourself.
At the end of the episode, I'll guide you through a short grounding visualization to help you quiet the outside noise, reconnect with your inner wisdom, and take one small step that feels more like you.
Take a moment for yourself... step between the trees.
In this guided visualization, you'll journey beyond the doubts and logistical filters that often cloud your vision to reconnect with the life you're meant to create.
Through curiosity, imagination, and mindfulness, you'll meet the version of yourself already living in alignment with your deepest desires.
Because every transformation begins with a single vision.
Life moves fast, and it's easy to lose touch with yourself.
This guided meditation offers a space to slow down, reconnect, and reset through simple breath-work and a relaxing body scan. As you gently release tension and settle into the present moment, you'll create space for greater calm, awareness, and inner peace. Return to this meditation anytime you need a moment to pause, breathe, and simply be.
Hello, hello, Beautiful Souls!
In this first episode, I'm sharing the story behind Between the Trees and the experiences that shaped my journey—from taking the unconventional leap into culinary school, to anxiously searching for love and acceptance in all the wrong places, to reconnecting with myself through nature, rock climbing, and mindfulness. My path has been anything but linear.
I open up about the struggles that transformed me, the lessons I learned along the way, and the series of pivotal moments that ultimately led me to teaching and becoming a Spiritual Life Coach. My hope is that parts of my story resonate with you—whether you're seeking guidance, navigating your own crossroads, or simply curious about how I got here.
Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or craving a deeper connection with yourself, I want you to know that change is possible. This is just the beginning.
In this episode, we explore:
