Bev Makes Friends

Mike Hawk, of Mikey's Boxing Gym, has been murdered during the convention at the Grand Colonel Hotel. No one seems to know who did it! Luckily, Bev was on the scene doing her new news lady job. This could be her big break as a detective news lady.

This is a 6-part collaboration between Bev Makes Friends and No Alibi Improv.

Performers: Nate Brosy as Uncle Catholic, Madeline Evans as John Dylan Ryan, Stuart Fleisher as Joe Billy Billy Joe, Joshua Quinn as Barry Franks, Maddie Ruark as Creme Bru'labia, Faith Volpe as Mike Hawk, Betsy Rives as Bev, with musical theme created my Sam Aluyon

To help Bev prepare for her upcoming radio news lady job, famous local radio host, Portia, stops by to share some tips. Cal Callahan, of the Colonel news paper, joins them as Bev's mentee. It turns out a big part of having a face for radio is beauty, obtained through Time Inversion Tablets. Hopefully beauty helps Bev as she and Cal pursue "true" crime podcasting.

Guests: Karie Vieira as Portia; and Erica Acebo as Cal

When Bev's timer broke, some show recordings went over time!!!! Some bits had to be cut for time. These are some of those silly bits. If you're looking for super goofy, chaotic, and nonsensicalness - this is for you!

Guests: Gabriella Gordon, Cozmuh Sylth, Austin Leal, Austin Combs, Finn Rueffert, Maddie Ruart, Brad Lasky, Stephen Johnson, Leslie North, Ethan Boone, Michael Smith, Joseph Lopez, Marietta Mendler, Mads Nau, and Aaren Lasky.

Saff is back at Bev's for some robe time! But before gossip and games begin, Gaylord P. Stiles (owner of the crystal shop before the dump) stops by with gifts, spells, and a plea for friends. Bev tries hard to build friendship with Gaylord, but Saff is hesitant... a challenge even magic can't fix.

Guests: Scottie Rowell as Saff; and Karie Vieira as Gaylord

Pat and Cat Jacket, of Crime Scene She Wrote fame, visit Bev to promote their 437 different forensic reenactments. These detailed videos not only help students learn to identify clues to solve crimes, but also give Bev a glimpse into the complex balance of reality and pretend in the Jackets' marriage.

Guests: Rob Horton as Pat Jacket; and Tiffany Brunner as Cat Jacket

Bev's new housemate, Francis, stops by to set the record straight and get the recognition he deserves. Too bad he is interrupted by Detective Randy Newman who is on the hunt for an escaped fugitive. Luckily Bev's there to get the facts right... Robert Irwin did win Dancing with the Stars.

Guests: Walker McKnight as Francis, and Sydney Van Alstyne as Detective Newman

Actress Lisa Lenaud’s car breaks down in a storm, and she is left stranded at Bev’s. Luckily Bev and her friend and handyman, Marty McCluster, are gearing up to play in the rain! Who doesn’t love a romcom in a make-believe waterfall (aka a roof leaking into a bucket)?

Guests: Brandon Short as Marty McCluster, and Yara Martin as Lisa Lenaud

Seff Charman and Norman Ochermarch from the Colonel Community Players stop by Bev's to promote their production, "Noise of Songs." While Bev may not be in this production, the Colonel community can look forward to future shows including "Aardvarks" and "St. Louis," which also don't feature Bev. Our apologies to the city of Colonel; this is not a movie theater.

Guests: Scottie Rowell as Seff; and Finn Rueffert as Norman

A visit from Bev's neighbor, Guy, turns into a revolving door of guests. There's singing, wrestling, a fire, the Muppet Show, and a local Grammy! Bev's doing her best, staying alive, and getting famous. This show has everything.

Guests: Trevor Hancock as "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Elmo, Coach Coffer, John Cleese, and Kermit the frog; and Clay Butler as Guy and Hugh Jackman.

Devin Brendan, of the wash and fold, comes by Bev's just in time. It doesn't look like electrician Stiy Wisely can fix the washing machine, and Bev has a lot of sweatiness in her top that needs to be cleaned! While they sort out the laundry, Devin invites Stiy to join his secret spelling club. Hopefully Stiy lives to the next full moon.

Guests: Cozmuh Sylth as Devin Brendan and Austin Leal as Stiy (and Brenda) Wisely
