In this episode, we dive into the world of French greetings. Depending on the level of formality, there are several ways to greet people:

• bonjour = good morning / good day / good afternoon; bon = good jour = day
• bonsoir = good evening when greeting a person; bon = good soir = evening
• bonne soirée = wishing a good evening when saying goodbye;
• salut / coucou = hey there! (informal);
